MeCAT is a joint project between the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO) and the Australian Synchrotron (AS) to improve the management and publication of research data and metadata at the two facilities.

This project is supported by the Australian National Data Service (ANDS). ANDS is supported by the Australian Government through the National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy Program and the Education Investment Fund (EIF) Super Science Initiative (EIF020 and EIF037).

This blog will be used to publish updates about the project, discuss issues the project is facing and hopefully to connect with other similar projects being run around the world.

MeCAT is enhancing Tardis:

  • ANDS – Australian National Data Service
  • ANSTO – Australian Nuclear Science Organisation
  • AS – Australian Synchrotron

Since its inception this blog has been maintained by MeCAT’s Project Manager, Alistair Grant (alistair.grant (at) synchrotron.org.au).
